Watch the video. View the scale chart to learn how to play Major Scale Pattern 2 and which fingers to use.
Practice playing the pattern SLOWLY starting from the low G string (fattest string), playing all the notes up to the highest (highest pitch) note on the high E string (thin string), then backwards (descending in pitch).
Your goal is to be able to (memorize) and be able play Major Scale Pattern 2 WITHOUT looking at the scale chart. When you feel reasonably comfortable playing Major Scale Pattern 2, move on to the next lesson.
